One of the last secreat sailing destinations
The climate during the Summer is mild and stable. At midday the wind raises (the Maestros). It is a pleasant wind which blows from nord-west and falls in the evening. In Spring and Autumn this wind is stronger and provoques sometimes stroms from the south-west. During this period it is nice going direction west, to Levskas Island. In this region you will see Island coming out of the crystalline water. The Ionian Islands, from Corfou to Paxos, levkas, Meganisi , kephallinia, Ithaka till Zakynthos and around the main land are ideal for sailing turn with children. And this from May to September. You will find fisher village full of colour. You will find all over mooring spots and little ports. The marinas are rare.Corfu is a perfect island to relax.
Our advice
Summer is the ideal period for families with children or for a relaxing cruise. Spring and Autumn are most appreciated for longue distance cruise sailing turns.
Our base
Our base is located in the Marina Gouvia in the neighbourhoud of Kerkyra only 15 minutes from the airport. There is in this marina a good supermarket as well as several restaurants.

durch den Kanal von Levkas zum Hafen Gaios auf Paxos (39°12N .20°10,1E) ca. 33 sm, Buganker mit Heckleinen zum Stadtpier, kleiner lebendiger Hafen in schöner Umgebung, vorher Badestop mit karibischem Flair ½ sm vor dem NO-Kap von Antipaxos,
Freitag
zurück zur Marina Gouvia, vorher Badestop in der malerischen Lakkabucht kurz vor dem Nordkap von Paxos, nach dem Tanken zum Liegeplatz, ca. 30 sm.
